Jackson Wang releases special video of '100 Ways' to thank fans for support

Jackies, Jackson Wang has a special video made just for you in celebration of “100 Ways” reaching the US Top 30 charts since its release last March 19.

On Wednesday, July 1, Jackson uploaded another version of his pop hit through the official channel of 88Rising to convey how thankful he is to fans for continuously showing support to his musical endeavors.

In the video titled “100 Ways Jackson Wang Loves You,” we see the Hong Kong native in his hotel room dancing and interacting with different household materials to express his joy.

Rise to the charts

Since the release of “100 Ways,” the GOT7 rapper has been making its way to the US Charts marking its highest at number 29 as of June 30.

Last month, it entered the US charts by ranking number 39 and has continuously risen to the top eventually beating The Scotts and Noah Cyrus.

According to reports, Jackson's radio chart ranking is not only the best record of a K-pop group solo singer, but also the best record for a Chinese solo artist.

In an interview with 99.7 NOW DJ Fernando Ventura, the idol thanked his fans for the support they've given him in his endeavors.

Saying, “First of all, thank you so much, everybody, for showing love to '100 Ways' and showing your love to me. I love you guys a lot. I can't wait until the day I can travel again to meet you guys.”

His last solo album titled “Mirrors” entered the charts including a place at the Billboard 200 and was met with generally positive reviews.

Jeff Benjamin from Billboard wrote, “One of 'Mirror's' standout tracks 'Bad Back' shines as one of the most interesting on the album as it seems to have multiple layers to representing Jackson as both an artist and as a person. 'Mirrors' felt like a journey of self-discovery with a tracklist that showcased new sides of Jackson as an artist.”

Team Wang

Jackson Wang's own label, Team Wang, recently celebrated its 3rd anniversary on Friday, June 26, by posting a series of black and white photos of his team as they celebrate the milestone with a good slice of cake.

On Instagram, the rapper described the journey as “3 years of sweat and tears” and considered it as his “precious moments.”

He added, “Exploring and building this together. Expanding to divisions like music, fashion, production.

“But, everything falls under the vision and message behind Team Wang: Know yourself. Make your own history.

“Knowing what I love, what moves, and the strategies I am planning towards what I love.

“Everyone [who is] showing love and support means everything to me. It keeps me motivated to challenge my limits again and again.

“There's a lot more to come with the team. We will do our best. Let's make history.”

In line with its third anniversary, Team Wang released teasers of their pop-up store in Shanghai and their official merchandise that will be released very soon.

“The wait is about to end,” said the brand in one of its posts.
